Incumbent Democratic Kimberly Jean-Pierre (11th AD) is being challenged by newcomer Republican Kevin Sabella November 6 and the race is focused on experience versus a call for change.  Jean-Pierre was first elected in 2014, succeeding Assemblyman Bob Sweeney who served in the seat for more than 25 years. She is looking to continue her service.
