4.At the direction of the Estate attorney I looked for but
did not find an escrow book
or other documentation accounting for deposits into
the above IOLA accounts
and no other evidence of
ownership of such funds
was found. No person has
contacted the undersigned
regarding a demand for
a refund of funds deposited with decedent in his
IOLA accounts and I have
no knowledge of the ownership of funds on deposit in
said escrow accounts.
5.I discovered a third bank

§ 121-1 Legislative intent.
The Town Board of the Town
of Babylon hereby finds
and determines that it is
necessary for the security,
safety, protection and general well-being of the Town’s
employees and the public at
large to place restrictions on
the bearing and possession
of weapons or dangerous
instruments by individuals
while entering into and being present in buildings and
premises owned, leased and/
or operated by the Town
of Babylon. Therefore, the
purpose of this chapter
is to prohibit individuals
from carrying any weapons
or dangerous instruments
into buildings or premises
owned, leased and/or operated by the Town.
§ 121-2 Definitions.
As used in this chapter, the
following terms shall have
the meanings indicated:
LAW OFFICER
Any police officer, deputy
sheriff, court officer or peace
officer.
WEAPON or DANGEROUS INSTRUMENT
Any firearm, gun, explosive
device or substance, lethal
or debilitating chemical or
gas, handgun, pistol, target pistol, revolver, rifle,
shotgun, dangerous knife,
dagger, dirk, razor, stiletto
or imitation pistol, or bow
and arrow.
PROHIBITED ZONE
Constitutes all the unincorporated water and land areas
of the Town of Babylon.
§ 121-3 Effect on statutory
provisions; exceptions.
A. Rifle ranges or similar installations constructed
in accordance with the provisions of the Code of the
Town of Babylon and fully
contained within a structure
or structures are excepted
from the prohibitions contained in this Chapter.
B. Archery ranges or similar

installations constructed in
accordance with the provisions of the Code of the
Town of Babylon and fully
contained within a structure
or structures are excepted
from the prohibitions contained in this Chapter.
C.This Chapter shall not apply to any active duty police
officer; to any active duty
peace officer, as defined in §
2.10 of the New York Criminal Procedure Law, who has
obtained a firearms license
as required by law and who
is carrying the weapon or
dangerous instrument during hours permitted by law;
to ballistics experts; or to any
other authorized official of
the County, state or federal
government. Such weapons
or dangerous instruments
may only be brought into
Town buildings during the
hours that the above officers
or officials are permitted to
carry such items.
§ 121-4 Possession of weapons or dangerous instruments prohibited.
No individual shall bear or
have in his or her possession,
either openly or concealed,
any weapon or dangerous
instrument while entering
into or while being present in any building owned,
leased and/or operated by
the Town of Babylon.
§ 121-5 Discharge of weapons restricted.
No person shall discharge
any weapon or dangerous
instrument within the prohibited zone of the Town of
Babylon.
§ 121-6 Penalties for offense Any person violating the
provisions of this chapter
shall be guilty of an offense
and subject to the penalties
provided in §§ 1-15 through
1-17 of the Code of the Town
of Babylon.

ten-year period shall be
governed pursuant to this
subsection. Where a qualified owner owns qualifying
residential real property on
the effective date of this section, such ten-year period
shall be measured from the
assessment roll prepared
pursuant to the first taxable
status date occurring on or
after the effective date of
this section. Where a qualified owner does not own
qualifying residential real
property on the effective
date of this section, such
ten-year period shall be
measured from the assessment roll prepared pursuant
to the first taxable status date
occurring at least 60 days
after the date of purchase of
qualifying residential real
property; provided, however, that should the veteran
apply for and be granted an
exemption on the assessment roll prepared pursuant to a taxable status date
occurring within 60 days
after the date of purchase
of residential real property,
such ten-year period shall
be measured from the first
assessment roll in which the
exemption occurs. If, before
the expiration of such tenyear period, such exempt
property is sold and replaced
with other residential real
property, such exemption
may be granted pursuant to
this subsection for the unexpired portion of the ten-year
exemption period.

Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this section, no later than 90 days
before the taxable status
date next occurring on or
after the 31st of December
2007, after a public hearing,
the governing body of any
county, city, town, or village
may adopt a local law to provide that the exemption shall
be granted pursuant to this
section for the purposes of
taxes levied for such county,
town, or village. For the
purposes of a county which
is not an assessing unit, the

taxable status date occurring
on or after December 31,
2007, shall mean the first
such tax roll for which the
county taxes are levied.
