made a tentative determination to approve this application to renew the facility’s Air
State Facility permit with all
emission sources, processes,
and emission points remaining unchanged. All criteria
pollutants, including greenhouse

gas pollutants, are
capped below major stationary source Title V (40 CFR
70) thresholds, and attainment and non-attainment
New Source Review (NSR)
major source thresholds.
The facility consists of the
Clear Flo Technologies Inc.
(CFT) operation and the
Clean & Green Recycling Inc
(C&G) operation, and includes on-site kilns, cooling
towers, heating and cooling
systems, storage tanks, and
other ancillary equipment.
CFT operation uses dewatering equipment to remove
water from approved liquid
wastes including wastewater
treatment plant sludges/
biosolids and restaurant
grease trap cleanout wastes,
and then treats the resultant
water prior to discharging it
to an existing connection to
the Suffolk County Sewer
District # 3 collection system. Dewatered sludges/
biosolids and greases are
loaded to sealed containers
and transferred to permitted
disposal facilities. C&G uses
alternate fuel sources such as
fat, oil, and grease (FOG) to
provide heat for the indirect
drying of biosolids including
wastewater treatment plant
