Babylon football tops Port Jeff to complete perfect regular season

By Liam Henry

Heading into the playoffs you want to be playing consistently, is winning all eight of your regular season games enough consistency?

 You better believe it.

Babylon football has been a model of consistency throughout 2016 and that was no different as they disposed of Port Jefferson, 36-6, on the road in Suffolk IV on October 29.

“8-0 was a pretty big accomplish for us,” said quarterback Scott Sasso. “Going into the season not many people thought that we were going to be any good, but we proved a lot of people wrong. [We] showed that Babylon is the real deal this year and have aspirations to win another LIC.”
