glass windows, except as
noted below. Openings
without opaque or semiopaque glass windows shall
have grills, louvers, mesh
or similar components that
significantly reduce the visibility of cars parked behind.
Opaque or semi-opaque
glass windows are permitted
in all ground floor fenestration at parking facing a
street.
b.At street corners of Primary or Secondary Streets,
ground floor fenestration
facing both streets shall utilize opaque or semi-opaque
glass windows at parking,
for a minimum distance of
seventy-five (75) horizontal
feet, measured from the
corner of the building at the
street corner.
c.At the end of buildings occurring mid-block,
ground floor fenestration
facing the street shall utilize
opaque or semi-opaque
glass windows at parking,
for a minimum distance of
forty (40) horizontal feet,
measured from the corner
of the building.
d.Ground floor rear facades facing the interior of a
block, and side wall facades
occurring mid-block, shall
have fenestration of the
same size, shape, and pattern of the fenestration on
the second floor above, and
in the same vertical alignment. The fenestration may
be open, or have opaque or
semi-opaque glass windows.
