Police seek public's help in apprehending bank robber

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed four banks. Police gave this account:

 One June 29, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a man entered the Chase bank, located at 472 Medford Ave., Patchogue, approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

 On June 11 at approximately 4 p.m., the same suspect entered Chase bank, located at 2430 North Ocean Ave., Farmingville, demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

On June 24 at approximately 2:30 p.m., he entered the Chase bank, located at 2650 Sunrise Highway, East Islip, presented a note demanding cash and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The following day, he robbed Capital One, located at 131 Portion Road, Lake Ronkonkoma, at approximately 5:20 p.m. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

 The man was described as white, between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 6 feet tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build.
