qualified voters of the West
Islip Union Free School District, Town of Islip, Suffolk
County, New York, will be
held at the West Islip Public
Library, 3 Higbie Lane, West

County, New York on the 9th
day of April, 2013, between
the hours of 10:00 A.M. and
9:00 P.M. prevailing time, for
the purpose of voting upon a
proposition adopting the annual budget for the support
and maintenance of the West
Islip Public Library for the
fiscal year 2013-2014 and
authorizing the appropriation of the amount thereof
to be raised by a levy of a tax
upon the taxable property in
and of the West Islip Union

York.

(SECOND SUPERVISORY DISTRICT)

Please take notice that the BOARD OF COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES OF THE SECOND SUPERVISORY DISTRICT OF SUFFOLK COUNTY
(Western Suffolk BOCES) will hold the annual meeting of the trustees and members of the boards of education of its
component school districts on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at the Western Suffolk BOCES Administrative Offices,
507 Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York. The Board of Cooperative Educational Services will present its tentative
administrative, capital and program budgets for 2013-2014 to the trustees and members of the boards of education of

Section 2018-a of the Education Law.the completed
application must be received
by the District Clerk, at least
seven (7) days before the
election if the ballot is to be
mailed to the voter, or the
day before the election, if
the ballot is to be delivered
personally to the voter. No
absentee voter’s ballot shall
be canvassed unless it shall
have been received in the
Office of the Clerk of the
School District no later than
5:00 P.M., prevailing time,
on the day of the election,
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. A
list of all persons to whom
absentee ballots shall have
been issued will be available
for inspection by qualified
voters of the District in the
said Ofice of the Clerk on
each of thefive (5) days prior
to the day of election, except Saturdays, Sundays and
holidays, between the hours
of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.,

prevailing time and shall be
available at the polling place
on the day of the vote. Any
qualified voter may, upon
examination of such list,ffle
a written challenge of the
qualifications as a voter of
any person whose name appears on such list, stating the
reasons for such challenge.
Any such written challenge
shall be transmitted by the
District Clerk or a designee
of the Board of Education to
the inspectors of election on
Election Day.

During all hours of voting
and registration, the District
Clerk shall be at Election
District No. 1.

SCHOOL ELECTION DISTRICTS

The boundaries of the
school election districts and
the place in each election
district for registration and
voting shall be as follows:

Election District No. 1
meets in the Board Room
of the Administration Wing
of the Senior High School,
10 Farmingdale Road, West
Babylon, New York, and

the said election district
comprises all that portion
of West Babylon Union Free
School District, Town of
Babylon, lying south of Sunrise Highway.

Election District No. 2

Election District No. 2
meets in the Santapogue
School, 1130 Herzel Boulevard, West Babylon, New
York and the said election
district comprises all that
portion of the West Babylon
Union Free School District, Town of Babylon, lying
north of Sunrise Highway.
