Last month, Suffolk County lawmakers from both sides of the aisle came together and unanimously voted to adopt an important voter empowerment initiative put forward by Majority Leader DuWayne Gregory (D-Amityville). The bill amended the 10-year, National Census-based redistricting plan, previously adopted by the Legislature earlier this year.
