For the third time, incumbent senator Charles Fuschillo faces political hopeful Carol Gordon in the run for the seat in the eighth Senate District. The two squared off in 2008 and 2010. Gordon, a Democrat and grandmother of 10, is from Massapequa, and says one of the reasons she continues to run is her personal commitment to the youth.
