The Town of Islip recently honored Blake Passaro, a nine-year-old resident of Oakdale, for his outstanding contributions to the community. From a young age Passaro demonstrated a true empathy for members of our community who were struggling against harsh circumstances. Now, twice a year, Passaro donates toys and books to children at Stony Brook Hospital.
