The Lindenhurst Board of Education held a first reading for four proposed policy changes at its Jan. 4 board meeting. The policies define changes for budget planning, student searches and interrogations, the school’s annual budget and the acceptance of gifts to the district from the public. All four will have a second reading and vote at a meeting scheduled for this week.
