Gail King, a former resident of West Islip, was named Miss Senior America at the age of 60, proving that age is only a number when it comes to having poise, grace and beauty. The Miss Senior America pageant celebrates the ac­complishments, achievements, talents and beauty of women over the age of 60. King was first named Miss Senior New York, before moving on to the finals.
