On Fri., May 21, the Long Island Language Arts Council celebrated the accomplishments of its members and other Long Island educators who were awarded the NYSEC (NYS English Council) Teacher of Excellence award. Donna Briody from the West Babylon High School was awarded this distinction at the NYSEC Fall Conference in Albany.
