Accident and fire along Ocean Parkway keeps BFD busy

The Babylon Fire Department had a busy July. The month started with a brush fire at Oak Beach on Mon., July 5. After fighting the fire, which was contained along the center median of Ocean Parkway and the shoulder, the firefighters were called back in the early evening to mop up some hot spots that had developed.
