Deer Park High School students Ian Kowalchuk and Sydney Bond were awarded the Suffolk Zone Chapter of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Award. Students were selected based on their excellence in physical education through academic accomplishments, leadership skills and strong character.
