West Babylon Junior High School announced that sixth grade student Amanda Beck was honored by several local organizations for her science fair project titled “Catching Rays.” Beck’s work was chosen to represent the school at the Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Elementary Science Fair where she went home with a ribbon.
