Our Lady of Lourdes School in West Islip, celebrated Fire Safety month with a visit from Lt. Mike Harty of the FDNY. Lt. Mike visited Mrs. Harty’s nursery class and Mrs. Harris’ third grade class where he reviewed fire safety tips. The nursery learned to stop, drop and roll while the third grade reviewed what to do in the event of a fire.
