Former Babylon Village resident John Crawford died Feb. 11, 2010 in Spokane, Washington. He was 69. He was born Nov. 1, 1940 in Bay Shore and grew up on Park Avenue in Babylon Village with his five brothers and three sisters. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Babylon High School, he moved to Washington after joining the U.S. Air Force.
