TheLindenhurst Historical Society will hold its first quarterly meeting of the year, Wed., March 24, 7 p.m. at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library, South Wellwood Avenue and Lee Avenue, Lindenhurst.

The program will be the movie The Historical Village of Lindenhurst with appropriate movie refreshments and coffee and cakes. For newcomers to the Village, it is a way for you to learn about the industrial, political and social activities that Lindenhurst has to offer. For old timers it will be a time to reminisce.

The museum on South Wellwood Avenue is open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. for a free guided tour. You can see the display of fur coats, jackets and scarves. Dues are $5 annually or $30 for a life membership.
