On March 11, 7 p.m. the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet will host a program by Joshua Ruff, curator at the Long Island Museum, titled An American Treasure in Your Backyard: The Long Island Museum’s Carriage Collection. The presentation will be held at the Islip Public Library, 71 Monell Ave., Islip and is free and open to the public.
