Berkshire Nursing Home employees call—and then call off—strike; health benefits at issue

An ongoing contract dispute between Berkshire Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and its employees led to a call for a three-day strike at the 175 bed nursing home in West Babylon. But, further negotiations prompted the union to postpone the strike, which had been scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, January 27-29.
