Good Samaritan Medical Center appoints Client Service Manager
Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, of West Islip, recently appointed Maureen Homenick, client service manager. Previously, Homenick served as an application analyst within information technology (IT) with Catholic Health Services on the clinical team. During that time she assisted in the development and launch of new applications across the five facilities such as the clinical documentation system for the labor and delivery units at Good Samaritan, Mercy Medical Center, St. Catherine's and St. Charles and the mobile hand-held rounding device used by physicians at St. Francis. Additionally, Homenick provided support to users for the various clinical applications. This includes Care Manager, STAR, and Physician Portal, while serving as the lead analyst

In this new role, Homenick's primary responsibility as client service manager is to facilitate all IT-related projects and initiatives at Good Samaritan. She ensures all necessary IT resources are available to the hospital and interacts with administration and hospital staff to bring projects to a successful and timely completion. Homenick also manages IT requisitions, budgets, plans and conducts project-related meetings.
Homenick holds a master's degree in social work from Adelphi University and has previously served as executive
director of not-for-profit organizations in New York City, as well as an independent management consultant.
