In a quaint little gift shop, amidst the jewelry, the garden ac­cessories, and decorations, Mary Lou was less concerned with selling merchandise, and more interested in forging friend­ships. The store owner of Main Street Gifts in Babylon Village for almost 20 years, Mary Lou Ferraro, 55, a friend to many, died in August.
