S.C. Leg. Tom Barraga (R) West Islip recently presented a Suffolk County Proclamation to Nicole Muller, a West Islip High School graduate, in recognition of her receiving the “Suffolk County Executive’s Youth Achievement Award” 2009. The award honors those students in grades 7 through 12 who have overcome unbelievable obstacles in their young lives to come out not only as successful students but also responsible individuals dedicated to serving those around them – true role models. Jennifer Nolan wins scholarship

Jennifer C. Nolan, of West Babylon was awarded the Dr. Lawrence J. and Mary Lou DeNardis Endowed Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year at the University of New Haven (UNH). Nolan is a Sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement.
