Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation Family Fun Day Volleyball Tournament

2009-11-19 / Events & Bulletin

The Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation recently brought friends, families and neighbors together at its annual Family Fun Day Fundraiser held in Babylon Village. Hundreds participated in a fun-filled day of events including a volleyball tournament, egg toss, sack race, dunk tank, watermelon, pie and hot dog eating contests and more. The day was made possible by the volunteers who donated their time and the local merchants who donated their products.

Mike Greene was a Babylon Village resident who was tragically killed in the line of duty in June 2006 while volunteering for the West Babylon Fire Department. The Foundation, named in his honor, raises funds to donate to families and individuals in need in Babylon Village and its surrounding communities.
