During the month of November, Bohemia native, Elaine Faith Thompson will be exhibiting her Theodore Roosevelt painting, golf art, and Long Island scenes at the East Islip Library (upstairs), 381 East Main St., East Islip. The public is invited to meet the artist at a special reception and enjoy refreshments, on Fri., Nov.20, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for the event. Thompson’s latest works are of Theodore Roosevelt in oil painting and pen and ink. These pieces are part of the “Faith in America – Elaine Faith Thompson Collection.” Anyone attending the reception will receive a free limited edition print of a baseball player. For those who can not attend the reception, the exhibit will be displayed now through Mon., Nov. 30. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1to 5 p.m.
