On Sat. Dec. 5, 6 p.m. the Deer Park Fire Department, community organizations and local businesses will hold the annual Holiday Parade. Theparade will start at Deer Park High School and proceed down Park Avenue to the firehouse on Lake Avenue. Deer Park postal carriers will be on hand to collect letters for Santa and replies will be sent to those youngsters who enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Santa will be available to greet children following the parade and hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
