The West Babylon School District and its teachers have reached a contract agreement that both sides described as “historical” in terms of its timeliness. The four-year deal calls for a 1.75, 2, 2.25, and 2.3 percent pay increase and an agreement that the teachers give the district 32 extra help sessions a year, at no additional compensation.
