Harry Colleran, a former West Islip resident and member of the Babylon Yacht Club, died July 17, 2009 in Greenacres, Florida. He was 84 years old. Mr. Colleran was born in Forest Hills, Queens and his parents built a home in Massapequa Park where his father was a developer and became the community’s first Mayor. He and his two brothers, Peter F. and Robert, grew up there.
