Brownie Troop #1749, S.U. #23, recently visited the Fire Island Lighthouse where the girls enjoyed a nature walk and climbed to the top of the lighthouse, fulfilling the requirements for their Outdoor Adventure Try-It badges. Each level of Girl Scouting earns increasingly-complex and difficult badges building on skills acquired in prior activities.
