Shown in photo Airman Christopher J. Jensen. Shown in photo Airman Christopher J. Jensen. Air National Guard Airman Christopher J. Jensen, the son of Richard and Lucy Jensen of West Islip, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Theairman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

The airman graduated in 2002 from West Islip High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 2006 from the State University of New York College at Oswego.
