The Memorial Day weekend typically marks the start of the summer boating season and America's Volunteer Lifesavers were on hand to post the colors for the season kick-off for the South Bay Cruisers ceremony on Memorial Day at the Babylon Yacht Club. Flotilla 1-5 provided a Color Guard to present the American flag prior to the start of the Cruisers' season kickoff and also had safe boating informational handouts available for the Cruisers and their guests.
