PeaceSmiths monthly coffeehouse will be held Fri., June 5, 8 p.m. Thisis the last of the season, which runs, October to June. The coffeehouse will be held at First United Methodist Church, 25 Broadway (Route 110), Amityville, near Montauk Highway/Merrick Road.

This month the program is Signals of Peace: Green, Green, Left-on-Red featuring: Andy Greenhouse - down-home, heady-with-heart folksinger; Russ Green - a poet with zest who has performed at the organization's How-To forums and Left-on-Red - Liah Alonso and Kelly Halloran communicate with fun and socially relevant music, vocals, guitars, violin, drums and loops. There will be an open mic too.

The suggested donation is $7, less if necessary and more if possible. The evening includes coffee, tea, healthy munchies and some free, activist literature.
