Babylon Town Councilman Lindsey Henry and S.C. Legislator Steve Stern presented Proclamations to three First Precinct "Top Cops" at a ceremony held at the Our Lady of the Rosary Knights of Columbus in Deer Park. Honored were Police OfficersKeith Jordan, Stephen Johnson and Anthony Ortiz.

Theofficersapprehended a suspect in an attempted armed bank robbery after a concentrated search through wooded areas and a residential community. 'I applaud these Officers for their excellent demonstration of skill and composure during a potentially hazardous search for an armed suspect," Legislator Stern said. "Their training and skill enabled the suspect to be apprehended without incident and safeguarded the entire Deer Park community."
