Longtime Babylon Village resident and area business owner Mary A. (Grasso) Ferrari died March 28, 2009. She was 92. She was born Sept. 7, 1916 and raised in a home on Park Avenue in Babylon; she was the daughter of Frank and Angelina Grasso. Her father Frank ran Frank's Shoe Repair in Babylon for more than 50 years.
