Our Lady of Consolation hosts annual Pot of Gold Dinner

Msgr. James Vlaun, president and CEO Telecare On March 22, Our Lady of Consolation hosted its third annual Pot of Gold Raffle Drawing and Dinner. This was a fund-raising event created in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. Guests received a traditional Irish dinner and were entertained with Irish step dancing by the Mise Eire Dance Team from the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Babylon. Raffle tickets were also sold for $50 each with a grand prize of $10,000.

Special guest Rev. Msgr. James Vlaun, president and CEO of Telecare along with Mike Domingo, executive chef of Cafe Il Villaggio Restaurant in Babylon, also entertained guests with a cooking demonstration.

This event was a success due to the generosity of the staff, family members and the community. Over $30,000 was raised which will go directly to benefit resident and patient activities at Our Lady of Consolation.
