Solar "photovoltaic" panels are be­ing installed at seven of the Linden­hurst District's elementary schools, as part of the District's ongoing com­mitment to conserve energy and use natural resources. The renewable en­ergy project is a first for the Linden­hurst School District. These solar panels convert the sun's energy directly into electricity.
