Dear Editor: A heartfelt thank you to Christopher Noel Martinez for a well articulated letter on April 8, 2009. His last paragraph was very touching and brought tears to my eyes. His kind of spirit is the American dream come true!

I wish however there were more Americans who thought and felt like him. It's sad to see these changes being implemented that will in time alter America as we know it. Only the people of this great country can allow this kind of 'change' to our system of government by being complacent. It's time for all Americans to pay attention to how they want to be governed, their children to be governed and future generations to come.
