Islip Art Museum offers new programs

The Islip Art Museum will be offering two programs in the near future.

On Sat. April 11, 1 to 4 p.m., Chart- Pak, the manufacturers of Grumbacher paint, will present a hands-on demonstration of new formulas that expand imaginative possibilities. The workshop has limited space. Supplies are provided. Spend an afternoon creating art and exploring technical concerns with expert and artist David Pullman.

Thenon Sun., April 19, 1 to 3 p.m. Judith Page will discuss the nuts and bolts of building a career in the arts. Theformer director of Aljira will touch on topics ranging from formats for presenting your art to curators, grant applications and finding gallery representation.
