Mildred Dionian Longtime Bay Shore resident and former business owner Mildred H. Dionian died Feb. 21, 2009 in Seminole, Florida. She was 87.

"She was a wonderful person and a good friend to many," said Maryann Feeney of Bay Shore, a friend of Mrs.Dionian's daughter, Linda. "She always considered me kind-of an adopted daughter and I'll forever be grateful for that."

Born in Brooklyn in 1954, she moved to N. Gardner Drive in Bay Shore and lived there for 30 years while running Dionian & Grasso Plumbing & Heating with her husband James. In 1984 she retired to Seminole, Florida.

Mrs. Dionian leaves behind her children: James Arthur III and his wife Wendy of Seminole, Florida and Linda Sparta and her husband Nick of Seminole, Florida; her grandchildren: Dawn, Kimberly, Theresa, Christine, James A. IV and Michael; her great grandchildren: James, Garrett, Caleb, Jake, Grant and Connor. She was predeceased by her husband James Arthur II.

She reposed at the Moss-Feaster Funeral Home in Largo, Florida on Feb. 25, 2009. A Funeral Service was held on Feb. 26, 2009 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Largo, Florida.
