Town of Babylon announces annual Spring Eggstravaganza
Supv. Steven Bellone and Councilman Antonio Martinez, chairmen, Parks Committee, invite all Town of Babylon residents, age 10 and under, to participate in the 11th annual Spring Eggstravaganza, Sat., April 11, noon to 2 p.m. at Babylon Town Hall.
Attractions at this year's Spring Eggstravaganza include an egg-hunt, pony rides, clowns, petting zoo and more. The North Lindenhurst Fire Department will have a fire truck on site for children to tour. Mr. Bunny will be available for pictures, so bring your cameras. Applebee's of Lindenhurst will also be on hand to provide burgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches at a reasonable price. "Join us for this fun-filled family event as we celebrate the arrival of spring," said Supv. Bellone.
This year's event will be held at Town Hall Park on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. Theevent is free to all Town of Babylon residents. Parental supervision is required. For additional information, call the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs at 641-893- 2100.
