Office of Parks and Recreation accepting applications for vacant berths available for fishing boats, dive boats and excursion vessels

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation - Long Island region, will accept applications for vacant berths available for fishing boats, dive boats and excursion boats at Captree State Park, East End of Ocean Parkway, West Islip. This is a short-term opportunity only for the 2009 calendar year.

The New York State Parks system includes 172 state parks, 35 state historic sites, 27 golf courses, 76 beaches and 53 pools. The agency received the 2003-2004 National Gold Medal State Park Award for best state park system in the country for excellence in park and recreation administration and outstanding service to patrons.
