Eric Smith, of Babylon, was named to the dean's list at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the fall 2008 semester.

Marc Smith, of Babylon, was awarded the RIT Presidential Scholarship to attend Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. Marc will graduate in 2009 from West Babylon High School and intends to enroll in the Mechanical Engineering program.
