In collaboration with the Babylon Village Youth Project, Astoria Federal Savings Bank and the Village Art and Frame Gallery of Babylon, the Babylon Village Arts Council sponsored photographer Steve Martino to instruct about a dozen youths in the art of photography. Martino demonstrated the use of a digital camera, explained the elements of good photography and instructed the youths on editing techniques. Each photographer will enter their images in the Digital Photography Contest. The young photographers will display their work at Astoria Federal Savings Bank where the public can stop by and cast its vote.
