SUNY College at Oneonta senior men's lacrosse goalie, Nick Murray, of West Babylon, was selected today as the Goalie of the Week in the SUNYAC. He was honored for his performance in Oneonta's only game last week, a 13-6 win against Guilford College.

In the game, Murray played 56 minutes and recorded 11 saves while being charged with six goals against. The victory for Murray and the Red Dragons was their initial win of the 2009 season, as they are now 1-1 through the first two weeks of the season. Murray is 1-1 with a 7.26 goals against average in 115+ between the pipes. Murray, who is a political science major, is in his fourth season with Oneonta. In the spring of 2006, he was named to the SUNYAC All- Academic Team for his performance in the classroom.
