Supv. Phil Nolan announced that the Town of Islip will be offering a summer Adult Slow-Pitch Softball League, sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). The East Islip Marina Softball Complex will house a variety of men's and women's leagues, to be held Monday through Sunday. Teams can choose from a number of days and times to play.

League fees for day/twilight games are $1,995, and $2,250 for night games. Fees include bases, balls, awards, and two certified umpires per game.
