Babylon students score in top percentile
2009-02-26 / Schools/Sports
Last May, students in Clair Reilly's college accounting and marketing classes at Babylon High School put their knowledge to the test and participated in the National Financial Literacy Challenge, endorsed by the President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy.
The challenge, which was administered to more than 46,000 high school students across the country, measured financial literacy in students. At Babylon High School seven of Reilly's students scored in the top 25th percentile of all scorers and received recognition from the U.S. Treasury.
The seven students are Laura Greenman, Daniel Golder, Shannon O'Malley, Nick Shao, Stephen Speacht, Kristin Sutter and William Vukovich.
