The Great South Bay Audubon Society will be running two programs in the near future.

On Sat. March 7, 8 p.m. a bird walk will focus on wintering ducks gathered at local lakes. The group will meet at Brookwood Hall parking lot off Irish Lane, East Islip.

On Fri., March 13, 6:30 p.m. the society will have an owl prowl/woodcock watch. The group will meet at the parking lot of Gardiner County Park, West Bay Shore, Montauk Highway (27A).
