Bone Marrow drive to help young woman
Teresa Zultowski Marshall, 31 suffers from MDS, a rare bone marrow disease, and is in need of a bone marrow transplant in order to survive. In order to help Teresa you must first register to become a marrow donor. The best chance of a marrow match is between people who share the same heritage. Teresa is of Polish/Italian descent. Teresa and other patients of every racial and ethnic background desperately need your help. All you need to do is sign a consent form and do a cheek cell swab with a Q-tip at the marrow registration drive, which will be held Mon., March 2, 3:30 to 9 p.m., Knights of Columbus Council, South Broadway, Lindenhurst. For more information, call 631-956-36326 or 631-225-1866.
