In the spirit of the fall season, the West Babylon School District's Tooker Avenue Elementary School's students learned why pumpkins not only make such great pies but are also a great decoration. Recently, the children investigated the outside and inside of pumpkins. Parent volunteers came in with a pumpkin for each group of students, and then helped them weigh, measure, and count their seeds. This pumpkin party is an annual event in West Babylon.
